Catherine Bernadine Farley, 80, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at Fairfield Medical Center.
She was a member of St. Mark Church. She was a retired selector at Anchor Hocking Plant No. 1 after 33 years.
Survivors include four daughters, Pat Kunkler, Lancaster, Judy (Larry) Douglas, Lancaster, Darlene (Ed) Schooley, Amanda, and Connie Watts, Lancaster; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rita Coakley, Lancaster and Josephine (Tom) Barton, Reynoldsburg; two brothers, Herbert (Flora) Bash, Lancaster and Tom Bash, Lancaster; sister-in-law, Martha Bash, Lancaster; stepson, Jerry (Bonnie) Farley and one stepgrandson; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by first husband Roy A. Watts; second husband Gordon Farley; son, Tom Watts; great-grandson, Daniel; parents, Charles and Anna Miller Bash; brother, Edward Bash; and sister-in-law, Helen Bash.
Service will be Friday at 1 p.m. at St. Mark Church with Father Ronald L. Arter officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Sheridan Funeral Home. A vigil service will be held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Herbert E. "Herb" Bash at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2005, at St. Mark Church with Father Peter Gideon as Celebrant.
Mr. Bash passed away on July 21, 2005, after a short illness at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation-Homestead in Lancaster. He was 79.
Herb was born in Lancaster on Aug. 2, 1925, to Charles A. Bash and Anna L. (Miller) Bash.
Herb was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a paratrooper. He was a retired U.S. Postal Worker after 32 years of service. Because of Herb's strong work ethic, he had many second jobs over the years. He owned Herb's TV, selling and repairing TVs. He worked as a movie projectionist at the old Plaza Drive In and for a short period of time owned and operated a Service Station. After retirement from the post office, Herb worked for Meijer as a greeter. Herb also created woodcrafts and clocks. Finally just before his sickness, Herb was selling books over the Internet. For the past several years, Herb has served as vice-president of the Federal Employees Credit Union which is associated with The Lancaster Post Office. Mr. Bash was a parishioner of St. Mark Church.
Herb will be greatly missed by family and friends who loved him dearly.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Flora Belle (Thomas) Bash; sons, Stephen E. (Lorie) Bash of Newark and Rodney T. (Gladys) Bash of Lancaster; daughters, Angela M. (James) Flack of Greensburg, Pa., Susan L. (Terry) Karcher of Lancaster, Nancy A. (Dan) Mayer of Scottsdale, Pa. and Jane Douglas of Lancaster; 18 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Thomas Bash of Lancaster; sisters, Josephine Barton of Columbus and Rita Coakley of Lancaster; sisters-in-law, Martha Bash of Lancaster, Erma (Paul) Hunziker of Granville and Ella Marie Winegardner of Elyria; brother-in-law, George (Peggy) Thomas of Columbus; and many nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Bash is preceded in death by son, Dennis L.; brother, Paul Edward Bash; and sister, Bernadine Farley.
Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Sheridan Funeral Home. A vigil service will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery. Sheridan Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
