We regret to hear the sad news of the unexpected death of Timothy Sanderson, of Cedar Grove, on last Monday night. Mr. Sanderson was one of the prominent men of his neighborhood, a good citizen, a kind neighbor and a man with discharged honestly an His death will create a profound sorrow among the very many friends he possessed in Hocking County. - We hope to have a full obituary for publication next week.

Timothy Sanderson was born August 10, 1812. Died April 1, 1885. Aged 78 years, 7 months and 20 days. Was born in the county of Armah, Ireland. He came to America at the age of 20 and settled in the State of New York. He remained there two years and He leaves a wife, two sons, two step daughters and one step son, to mourn his loss. Two step sons having preceded him to the Glory world. He united with the new school Baptist in 1862. And was a consistent christian and a faithful member until death. He was a loving husband, kind father, obliging neighbor, and a good citizen. He was loved by all who knew him. His last sickness was short. He died as one going to sleep. An appropriate funeral discourse was preached by Rev. A. B. Wetherby, from John 16 Chapter 16th verse. Rev. J. Cooper.
