I need to get more confirmation on his birth and death dates. There seems to be a conflict of 10 years on both sides. Birth 1824 or 1834, death 1875 or 1885. Facts I do know are that his fathers' name was Henry and his mothers name was Mariah and that he had a sister named Elizabeth who married a Hoodlett. My problem is that if he died in 1875 he could not have fathered children that are listed under him and Rebecca Frazier listed in the Hocking Co. Book of births. Another problem is I thought that I saw his grave at Liberty Hill Cemetery listing his death as 1875, but I could be mistaken. In favor of the 1834 - 1885 dates is I found a census of a Henry Johnson whose wife's name is Mariah and also had a daughter named Elizabeth. Now this corresponds with the letter I read from Mary Elizabeth (WOODGEARD) Reynolds who referred to each of these names. Also the age of Daniel in the 1850 census was 17 which corresponds with an 1834 birth more or less depending what month the census was actually taken.
